The district election officials have made the cylinder as one of the campaigning tool as it is used by the women as part of Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation Program. The Dindugul district election officials have stuck awareness stickers on the cylinders to give awareness to the public to cast their vote in the forthcoming elections.
Same way such type of voting rights stickers are stuck before cinema theatres and in the area where people are seen crowded. The district Collector T.N. Hariharan started the stick starting awareness campaign at YMR Patti in the city early morning.
Theni Collector N. Venkatachalam stressed the importance of casting their vote among the public. He catapulted a campaign at Theni Central bus stand and said he has introduced a video van which will depict short films which will show the rights of the public.
Through self help group people, college and school students, the campaign will be made in rural and urban areas by the way of conducting rallies, seminars, cultural programs and by issuing pamphlets. Short films and videos will be telecasted in town panchayats, municipalities and Village panchayats.
