Two students were arrested as they were found duping the online shopping app Flip kart and Amazon. The culprits have previously done six such offences and have looted Nexus 6P Gold Mobile Phone, Microsoft Mobile Phone, one Samsung Mobile and one Nikon Gigital Camera, Lenova Laptop and a DVD.
The culprits who were arrested are Yahiya Mohammad Ishaque and Mohammad Shahroz Ansari. Yahiya was a 19 year old Psychology student from IGNOU and Ansari was a 24 year final year BBA student from SJ Arts and Commerce College. Both the college students belong to Golconda but belong to different area.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police said both the guys used to place online orders of Electronic goods such as Mobiles, Laptops, Cameras and DVD’s by using Flip Kart and Amazon app’s for the past four months. Usually Yahiya receives the item which they have ordered and his brother-in-law used to stand outside with the delivery boy. Yahiya takes the item tactfully and replaces sand equal to the weight and has cheated the delivery boy many times.
The culprits are from Maharashtra and both are relatives. Yahiya was residing in a house with his family members and was telling that he was doing online book business through Amazon. With the help of his relative he has made a master plan to change the pack and has looted electronic goods by replacing sand inside it.
