At the old Begumpet airport the roads of the flyover and the paradise are fully in damaged condition and yet the top up work is not made. Presently the metro works at Prakash Nagar Patny Circle which is the main carriageway has become more congested with two wheelers as they are avoiding the flyover due to pending work.
Even a sign board warning indication is not kept and the commuters are suffering and lose control. Heavy traffic jams are found at Shopper Stop and at the Hotel Manohar bus stop and also at the starting and ending point of Paradise flyover.
Ms Poonam Jain of Mettaguda has complained the road is very rough and many two wheelers feel risky to drive and even in non traffic hours they cannot drive fast. The flyover from Secunderabad towards Begumpet and the main road of Prakash Nagar is also a tough journey during night time and the motorists suffers a lot due to traffic jams.
A North Zone Engineering Wing Official has said the flyover work will start at the earliest and they are anticipating a machine to make the laying work. As the temperature is presently 40 degree and more during recent times, the BT work cannot be laid.
