Well, in less than one week, by March 31st, it is the routine time for financial year ending. It is a time of hectic activity and for those who are in financial problems, it is always a tense moment. Even for few states, it is a critical time in terms of finances.

Needless to say, with a begging bowl Andhra Pradesh is now standing at crossroads with stubborn refusal of Modi government to offer any relief from financial woes. Even last year, it was like a suspense thriller, till AP ensured transfer of nearly 4000 crores on the evening of March 31st.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is unable to get his wishes fulfilled for AP inspite of the repeated trips to Delhi and again this time he seems to have questioned Jaitley of injustice to AP in Union Budget. Jaitley reportedly said they will allocate whatever is left over as unspent amount in the last few days of financial year closing.

Well, similar to 2015, now finance department officials will be heading to treasury department in Nagpur, Maharashtra for online transfer. The amount which is left over will be given, that too based on the mood of BJP leadership in Delhi. It is being seen as a deliberate insult to Andhra Pradesh!
