YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy may pride himself on the fact that he raised a banner of revolt against Congress high command and the reason for that is Sonia’s refusal to give him CM post. Now even after five years, he is still far away from his dream.
Now in Tamil Nadu we have seen the emergence of an alternative political force in the form of Vijaykanth’s DMDK. This has risen to challenge both AIADMK and DMK who are ruling the political arena in Tamil Nadu. This is like how Jagan challenged Congress and TDP. There is more to this comparison.
Jagan had announced when he formed party that he will be taking oath as CM in 2014 which was not to be and he claimed he will topple Congress government anytime he couldn’t. These days the only statement from him is that he will become CM very soon.
Now DMDK which is expected to play a minor role due to its own set of mistakes has seen Vijaykanth making a big statement. He has announced the date on which he will be taking oath as CM though everyone knows Jaya may scrape through to become CM again and if not Karuna will be ready.
