In a anonymous written complaint to the agency director he allged huge amounts of money exchanged with senior officers colluding to fix cases.The complaint was signed by Honest IOs, CBI" accused seniors of pressurising investigating officers to "weaken" cases.
The letter alleged that where closure was reported to the Supreme Court, the case was re-opened when the director of the company being investigated refused to pay a bribe. It was found that CBI director Anil Sinha received the letter last March.
