G. K. Vasan the Tamil Maanila Congress leader here on Monday has stated that only the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMDK) and the People’s Welfare Front Alliance alone will be able to provide a corruption-free regime in the State and deliver the goods.
Vasan was speaking at the election meetings in Salem North constituency in support of the party candidate R. Devadoss and has said that the 50 years of corrupt regime provided by both the DMK and AIADMK has to be thrown out at any cost and their continuance in power will only deteriorate the situation.
Vasan has also added that this election is going to be a historic one, as a powerful DMDK-PWF alliance is all set to dislodge the corrupt regimes and usher in a new era. The people are longing for a transformation in the state and have already made up their mind to support the DMDK-PWF alliance.
He has further added that the Salem Corporation the drinking water scheme has not been implemented properly and also the underground drainage scheme. The roads are in a very poor shape and the Corporation’s failure to solve the civic issues has only led to severe health hazard.
