A four day old baby boy has died under mysterious circumstances at the old government hospital here on Monday and the family members of the baby has alleged that infant had died of ant bites as there were injury marks on the baby’s body.
Tension has prevailed outside the hospital as relatives and leaders of political parties have stated a protest and they have also accused the hospital staff of negligence which resulted in baby's death. They have blamed the nurses and doctors as they haven’t taken proper care of the boy baby.
According to reports it was said that Lakshmi the wife of auto rickshaw driver Anjaiah who was a native of Penumaka village of Guntur district, had given birth to the baby in the old government hospital four days ago.
On Monday morning Ms Lakshmi has found the baby dead. She also observed injury marks on the infant’s body. Though the hospital staff put the baby on incubator, he did not respond. The parents were very angry as the hospital staff hasn’t looked after the baby, which has resulted in the death of the baby.
