There were many speculations about Union Minister Dasari Narayana
Rao’s re-entry into politics in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It was more
or less confirmed that Dasari would be joining the YSR Congress party
and that he may be nominated to Rajya Sabha.
It
came to light when YSR Congress party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy went
to Dasari’s residence for his support and then Dasari describing Jagan
as a dynamic politician. However, there have been no further
developments in this regard and this took many by surprise at that
point.
Apparently, sources say that Dasari has
indeed dropped the idea of making a comeback to active politics since he
has been charge-sheeted by the CBI in the high profile coalgate scam.
Many felt his re-entry will only create further troubles for Jagan.
This
at a time when Jagan himself has been facing a CBI probe over alleged
disproportionate assets case was not seen to be conducive. So, to avoid
all forms of double trouble, Dasari has decided to stay aloof! Some say
it is a wise decision because Dasari didnt really contribute anything
effective as a politician.
