The country’s PM was addressing election rallies in Tamilnadu’s places like Hosur and Chennai and Modi has targeted the Opposition and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi by saying that there was absolute corruption during the (previous) UPA regime and that his government has currently tightened the screws for it.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday has said that his government will not spare those who have committed a crime in the helicopter deal. At the second rally in Chennai, Modi has sharpened his attack, by saying that a court in Italy has said that the UPA government and who controlled it have indulged in corruption in the AgustaWestland scam and he has asked whether he has told that.

At a 30 minute speech in Hosur, Modi has told a crowd of at least 10,000 that his government has weeded out all corrupt elements who have looted money and profits which are meant for ordinary people. Modi has told that the previous government had never helped poor people or Dalits or laborers and they were not able to approach any banks for help. It was in his government that has opened the doors of banks for poor people.

He has also asked whether any government in Tamil Nadu had ever been held accountable to the people, but he was doing that in Delhi and he has blamed the worst governments here, which the people would have never seen a good one. The people have seen the difference between a good government and a bad one only after BJP has come to power.
