Devi Reddy (21) who is a Hyderabad Engineering Student went to a party on Saturday night and she met with an accident at Jubilee Hills area around 4am. She was in the car of her senior in college Bharath Simha Reddy which had collided with a tree. Manasa (25) who is elder sister of Devi was in tears and she alleged that her death was murder and not an accident.
She said Bharath who was with her was protected as his father was a Rich real-estate businessman. Manasa said Devi was in touch with her father Niranjan Reddy till 3:30am and she said she would be in home in few minutes. As she never reached home, Niranjan called Police and cops confessed there was an accident and Devi was at Apollo Hospital.
Manasa further said, "My father and I rushed to the hospital and found doctors trying to revive her. After a few minutes they said she was no more. We were shattered. We did not tell my mom as she wouldn’t have been able to bear the news."
Manasa says this is a murder as Bharath had very minor injuries and there are also lots of houses near the accident site and none of the guards witnessed the accident. She also said that nothing has happened to car or the tree. If there was an accident, there should have been injuries on Devi's body, but she just had a nosebleed. Police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC (causing death by negligence).
