Filled with an emotion-choked voice, Congress president Sonia
Gandhi had described herself as daughter-in-law of Indira Gandhi,
stressing that she will die only in our country, India. Sonia said today
that she came in 1968 to India.
It has been 48
years she has been in India, Sonia added that India is her home and
this is her country, reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ho taunted
Sonia Gandhi over her Italian origins while addressing some of the
election meetings.
Sonia said she still has
relatives in Italy, a 93-year-old mother and also two sisters.
Referring to Indira and Rajiv, Sonia thundered that the blood of her
loved ones is actually mingled in this country, which is also
hercountry.
She said she will here, breathe her
last and also her ashes will be mingled with her loved ones here while
accusing that Modi would go to any length when it comes to questioning
her credentials.
