The politics in Andhra Pradesh has now taken a sudden but expected
turn with center announcing that Andhra Pradesh will not qualify for any
Special Status. BJP and especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi have
become exposed as villains in this issue.
They
are on a downward spiral in Andhra Pradesh. Even though the state BJP
leaders are trying their best to defend the center’s stand and
indirectly attack Chandrababu, nevertheless analysts say that it is AP
CM who is gaining from this issue despite himself being helpless.
Babu
is having sympathy of the people towards his side since the image of
Chandrababu working day and night very hard has been etched clearly in
their memory. In this bargain, the YSRCP boss Jagan Mohan Reddy is the
main loser owing to his actions and decisions.
It
is an open fact that Jagan is very clearly confused over deciding the
priorities. The fight by YSR Congress regarding Special Status is being
seen only as an eye wash to divert people’s attention over the weakening
graph of Jagan party!
Chandrababu is also
expected to tell Modi how Congress has slowly started gaining back some
of its cadre in Andhra Pradesh and assure him that he won’t be any
threat at national level against PM Modi. He is expected to seek final
clarity on special status and if not package!
