Operation Akarsh unleashed by TDP in Andhra Pradesh is all set to
give hold of another big catch. Balineni Srinivas Reddy from Prakasam
district is all set to join the TDP anytime now with two of his main
followers, namely MLA’s Pothula Rama Rao and Adimulapu Suresh.
There
are speculations that the deal between Balineni and TDP had been
brokered by ABN chief Radhakrishna. Balineni already has running feud
here in the district with YV Subba Reddy, belonging to YSRCP. This rift
has now reached the peak stages and hence the decision to join TDP.
Interestingly,
both Balineni and Subba Reddy are reportedly close relatives of Jagan.
The TDP is currently in talks to lure ten more MLA’s from YSRCP. If it
indeed becomes successful in these attempts, Jagan cannot be entitled to
the single Rajya Sabha seat.
According to
close sources, Jagan also made his mother Vijayamma speak to Balineni
and appealed him to refrain from such a decision, but the efforts are in
vain. Moreover, Balineni is reportedly in financial problems while TDP
offered to bail him out of them.
