After winning in a spectacularly way in West Bengal, Bengal CM
Mamata Banerjee was emphatic yesterday. She stated that it is may not be
Delhi next but she has reportedly hinted at a central role when it
comes to bringing together other regional forces.
When
a leading national channel asked if she has ambitions of becoming a
Prime Minister, she added that she would love to play some role for
India because she lovers her motherland and wanted to see her country
develop. As part of that, she also came up with something interesting.
In
what was a clear hint, the CM of West Bengal added that so many friends
can actually sit together, who can decide together whether she can help
them. Mamatha said her friends were Chandrababu Naidu, Arvind Kejriwal,
Nitish Kumar, Jayalalithaa and Mayawati etc.
This
is giving rise to speculations whether regional parties will come
together to give a shocker to the Narendra Modi led BJP and the
Congress. By naming Chandrababu, Mamatha has clearly hinted that Babu
will be part of such an alliance. This should be a good shot in the arm
for him.
