The Supreme Court (SC) judgment has come on a single national test for pre-medical examination, with President Pranab Mukherjee expressing doubts and seeking more clarification from the government following pressure from states, which wanted to conduct their own tests for entry into medical colleges at least for a year.

While students aspiring for non-medical courses are exploring their options after the Class X11 results, medical aspirants and their parents are an anxious lot. Dr. Jitender Nagpal of Moolchand Institute of Medical Health has told that they know their worth and they feel helpless and dejected by the system.

Even coaching institutions, which are gearing up to provide a crash course to students who aspire to appear for NEET 2, are awaiting the President's verdict and many students who were preparing for state level tests will now also appear for NEET 2 exam.

Akash Institute for medical entrance examination is planning to start a two-month crash course for NEET 3 and they have been getting queries from students and parents and they have no confirmation from the government.
