AIADMK party which returned to power creating history in the recently held assembly elections received huge shock at the start of the 15th Assembly session. SM.Seenivel (65) who was elected from Tirupparankundram constituency passed away leaving everyone shellshocked.
Seenivel is survived by wife,three daughters and a son. His son S.Selvakumar said Seenivel passed away due to heaert attack at Vadamalayan Hospital at 7 AM today. Rumours spread about his death on last Friday itself but family members condemned it.
He was admitted in a private hospital at Bibikulam, Madurai after he suffered heart attack but the MLA couldn't surive the stroke despite the best efforts from the doctors. Seenivel won with over 23000votes. Both AIADMK and DMK condoled his death.
Sad news cameout as TN assembly session was supposed to kick start from today. Jayalalitha's AIADMK surprised all psephologists who predicted Karunanidhi's DMK win by coming to power winning 136 of the 232 constituencies.
