Two years back on May 26th, President Pranab Mukherjee administered the oath of office to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Cabinet. The ceremony was attended by lots of Chief Mnisters, Opposite party leaders, Celebrities, Business tycoons and Religious heads. For the first time in 30 years BJP came with complete dominance and most of the people in India hoped for a change . Has the Change happened for Good or Bad ? Let's see at the performance

GOOD

1. Yemen Evacuation

2. Soon after the launch, Yojana entered the Guiness Book of World Records for the maximum number of accounts opened in a week. This is a good move and it became a big boost towards direct subsidy transfer.

3. LPS Subsidy reforms and 'Give-It-Up campaign'.

4. Swach Bharat Mission

This was a clear hit as most of the celebrities and even business tycoons took up this Mission seriously. But real success is when manual scavenging gets vanished.

5. India—Bangladesh land agreement.

This agreement has helped to solve certain burning issues amicably.

6. Bankruptcy code

This law was passed with help of Congress members in Rajya Sabha. Some amendments to existing bankruptcy laws were necessary.

7. Real Estate regulation

This is the much needed thing and this gave some confidence to buyers It was effectively implemented by all states and soon this became a game changer

8. Digital India

Indeed a revolution ! These days every minister is on social media and Smriti Irani has saved at least hundreds through Twitter mediuym. Also lots of measures were made as egovernance. Everything is happening on open data platform like data.gov.in. This is definitely a notable initiative.

BAD

1. Pathankot attack

Lots of chaos regarding this attack. Home Minsiter Rajnath Singh added fuel to fire and this also raised security questions about Indian military base.Azhar is believed to be behind the Pathankot attack.

2. India  Pakistan and Nepal relations

Relations with neighbouring countries has not been so good. Trade between India and Nepal were not allowed for many days. And all these happened within a year of Himalayan quake where Nepal thanked India for coming forward and help in rescue and rehabilitation.

3. Problem in Universities

Lots of issues in Central Universities. JNU, Hyderabad University, IIT Madras and lots more to mention. Controversies popped up each day and most of the opposition parties used it for own benefits

4. Blackmoney

Arun Jaitley earlier said he will bring all the black money and in these two years nothing has been done to bring back the money. In fact bringing back the poll money was one of BJP's promise

5. GST Bill

Government is still unable to pass GST Bill in Rajya Sabha. And this is the fate for Land Bill too.
