Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government completed two years in office and BJP decided to celebrate the event in a extravagant manner today evening at India Gate, Delhi. Top leaders and Ministers of BJP will be gracing the five hour long celebrations starting from 5 PM till 10 PM.
Many Bollywood stars like Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Juhi Chawla will be attending the event participating in the celebrations. However opposition Congress party which is hellbent in criticising the government, blasted Big B Amitabh Bachchan for hosting the event.
It objected on his participation in the event and they allege that his presence will influence Modi government's investigation on his involvement in blackmoney scandal as his name figured in Panama papers leaks.
However Big B Amitabh Bachchan took on Congress head on stating he is not hosting the event but is only presenting a part as he is the brand ambassador for Beti Bachao Beti padao and also UN Ambassador for Girl Child.He stated it is Madhavan who is hosting the show.
Some say Big B Amitabh Bachchan's sour relations with Gandhi family eversince the Bofors scandal is resulting such unwanted controversy. Some are of the opinion that Congress ploy of attacking PM Modi on Big B shoulders back fired as even Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and many of its leaders are facing severe corruption allegations and many are out on bail.
