The Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has very much mastered the
notion of media management after separate Telangana formation because
traditional pro-Babu forces have lost steam after Andhra Pradesh
bifurcation. Now most of the media supports KCR.
However,
sources say that the national daily Times of India, which has very good
popularity these days is reportedly dedicating an entire page or two
every day in main edition to attack KCR, especially the SRDP program
that is seen as death knell for the famous KBR Park.
Recently
KCR had warned that whoever defames his government will be dragged to
court. So far KCR & Co haven’t targeted national media but Times is
playing a major role in mobilizing educated sections in the city against
the project.
Avid renders of TOI which has
surpassed the other print media giants such as DC and Hindu by blending
local flavor remarkably over the years feel that it is just a matter of
time before this magazine comes under target as it has been exposing any
loopholes of KCR government!
