On Saturday the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended best wishes to his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif for his open heart surgery which is planned to be held in the UK on next Tuesday.
The defense minister Khawaja Asif had said on Friday that Sharif will undergo an open-heart surgery on Tuesday and so Modi has made a tweet and his best wishes to PM Nawaz Sharif Sahab for his open heart surgery on Tuesday and for his speedy recovery & good health.
Asif is also a confidante of 66 year old Sharif and had said doctors have advised the prime minister to undergo an open heart surgery, following which he will be staying in the hospital for a week as the doctors advise.
Sharif's daughter, Maryam Nawaz had confirmed on twitter that her father will undergo an open-heart surgery on Tuesday and Asif has also added that the prime minister will travel after one week, on doctor's permission. Modi has prayed for his operation to become a great success and for his speedy recovery.
