Some time ago, the Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went
to veteran filmmaker and Congressman Dasari Narayana Rao’s house for a
closed door meeting with him. This gave rise to speculations that Dasari
will be joining YSR Congress but that didn’t happen.
Instead,
Dasari started praising Jagan in various interviews. Now sources say
that Dasari is planning to start a brand new Telugu News Channel and
Jagan Reddy would be funding it. There are indications that Sakshi media
house will be seized any time.

Naidu government passed the needed laws which were approved by the
President of India. This new channel would be replacing Sakshi’s while
the Sakshi’s editorial team may also be immediately brought to this new
channel of Dasari if needed.
This move will
somehow make sure Jagan will not miss a media house for trumpeting
himself and attacking the TDP government all of the time. Jagan will be
more or less rewarding Dasari at an appropriate time. But it has to be
seen whether Dasari would take this up as he is yet to come out of the
coalgate scam.
