Ayesh who was 24 years old was killed by her own husband for dowry. She was pushed into a canal while clicking selfie. The 24 year old girl name seems to be Sardhana. Police said, "Ayesha was pushed into Ganga canal by her husband Aftab (30) for dowry.
To mislead police, Aftab reached Police station with his 8 month old son and complained that five miscreants tried to rob them and they pushed Ayesha into the canal as she resisted. But with various loopholes in investigations, we took Aftab into custody and interrogated sternly.
Then he confessed the crime and agreed that he pushed his wife into the canal while clicking selfie. They were married one and a half years ago.A case of dowry killing has been registered against Aftab and his elder brother Shehzad."
