At the time when the Andhra Pradesh government is all set for a shift of administration from Hyderabad city to Amaravati, many All India Services’ Officials are planning to escape this shift by seeking central postings.

IAS officers are not at all interested in going to Amaravati and in this regard they have reportedly applied for no-objection certificates from Andhra Pradesh government for leaving the state. They have been citing career and personal reasons for dashing off to Delhi.

Babus who are otherwise  expected to be role models are  now themselves worried about working soon in Amaravati, as they and their families cannot think of losing the comfort of city. This is being seen as a huge disappointment for the state government.

They are lamenting that there is a shortage of food and social life at Amaravati and there are no proper offices or quarters. Moreover, with regards to children’s education and healthcare, they feel it is bothering them very much!
