The Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said on June 5th that the Bhagyanagar Gas Limited (BGL), a joint venture of GAIL (India) Ltd and HPCL, will connect one lakh new households in Hyderabad to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) within next two years and more than 2.5 lakh by 2021.


Dharmendra has told that he has taken review and found the anomalies and he have a new business plan for Bhagyanagar Gas, within next two years and one lakh new households will be connected through PNG. The minister has said all preparatory work has been completed and tenders have been invited for the pipeline-laying process.


The Minister of State (Independent charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas has also said that within next two years, this (PNG) connectivity will be increased up to 1 lakh and in the next five years by 2021, more than 2.5 lakh households will be connected by PNG in Hyderabad.


He has also told that our government is committed to revive Ramagundam fertilizer plant and for that we are building the dedicated pipeline and very soon this pipeline work will start from Ramagundam to Mallavaram which will facilitate the early commencement of Ramagundam fertilizer unit.
