The aggressive comments that are coming from YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy against the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during his current tour in Anantapur district has reportedly triggered a hot and controversial debate.

It has to be seen whether this kind of language would actually benefit him politically or completely not. It is being said that such an intemperate language would only harm Jagan, as exposing his immature political thinking. Some say he should take a leaf from his father's book.

Any form of personalised attack, especially on a  Chief Minister, would only backfire since politics is not something about individuals but actually the performance of the government. However, it is looking evident that Jagan is quite frustrated about his current situation.

Even before the 2014 elections, Jagan had personally targeted Naidu, asking people to push him into Bay of Bengal. It only helped Chandrababu Naidu gain more sympathy in the elections. Now he has stated Naidu should be slapped by a Chappal. This move by Jagan is not being taken kindly.
