A 70 Year old retired Government employee has been booked for allegedly raping the maid working at his house. The 27 Year old woman was working at the house of the old man Somi Reddy for past 5 months. Yesterday the woman lodged a complaint against Somi Reddy and she accused him for raping her twice.
She also said that a rape was attempted on her on June 10th. Sub Inspector A.Satyanarayana said, "The old man has attempted the rape two times earlier. Now based on the complaint, we have filed a case under section 376 (rape) of IPC and under relevant sections of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act as the woman is from Lambada community. More investigations are being carried out."
Right now the woman has been sent for Medical examination. Neither the Inspector nor the victim never said about the accused.
