ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) will launch a Google-made satellite for the first time in history! Today ISRO will make history not only for launching 20 record satellites in one go, but also for the reason that all these 20 satellites has been built by Terra Bella, a Google company.

SkySat Gen2-1, or SkySat3, is a small Earth imaging satellite designed and built by Terra Bella, a Google company based in Mountain View, California, US. This Satellite will capture sub-meter resolution images and HD Video. This Satellite has a mass of 110 Kilos.


ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C34) will lift-off these satellite bys morning 9:26am from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota. The 19 co-passengers include satellites from the US, Canada, Germany and Indonesia as well as two satellites from Indian Universities. The total weight of all 20 Satellites is 1288 Kilos.
