Reacting strongly against the TRS government’s claims that it has been offering highest compensation package worth Rs 5 lakh per acre to farmers who are losing their lands under the Mallanna Sagar project in the Medak district, Revanth has thrown a challenge to KCR.

He asked whether KCR will surrender his lands at his farm house if somebody offers a higher price. He said that if he offers Rs 25 crore per acre for lands of KCR at his farm house located at Erravelli, whether he will surrender his lands! This became a hot topic now.

He added that villagers losing lands under Mallanna Sagar were only demanding rehabilitation and resettlement issues along with compensation, but the government is washing off its hands by giving less money. An official response from TRS is awaited still.
