As per the latest news the Union Minister for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal today has surprised the people of Andhra Pradesh by showering them with unanticipated praises on their honesty and Piyush was in Nellore today to inaugurate the Smart Electric Meter Scheme.
It is said that this new scheme will enable the electrification of remote villages through DC technology under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana and apart from the domestic meters and even the agricultural meters will be replaced under the new scheme.
Meanwhile Piyush has said that 15 lakh motors will be replaced with motors that reduce power consumption and then, Piyush has heaped praises on Andhra people saying that the citizens of Andhra Pradesh are regularly paying their electricity bills honestly.
The Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has lauded Piyush's efforts saying that the country his abundant with power resources thanks to the progressive measures initiated by the minister in just two years.
