Telangana Judges Association on Tuesday have called off its 10 day agitation following appeal from Chief Justice of India, acting Chief Justice of Hyderabad High Court and the governor.


The Judges of lower courts and judicial employees stayed away from work with demand to allotment of work towards Andhra Pradesh based Judges. A member of the association said, "We have decided to resume our duties from Wednesday."



They sought revocation of postings given to AP origin judges in Telangana district courts.They found several faults with the judicial cadre division among AP and Telangana. The High Court administration earlier suspended 11 Judicial officers who were working in Telangana district courts.


All the agitating judges would resume duties as soon as their suspended colleagues are taken back.
