With an objective of wresting the control of Kadapa district away from the family of former CM Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, sources say that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly hastened efforts for roping in three former ministers that will be transforming the political winds in the district.

Sources say that Former ministers MV Mysoora Reddy, DL Ravindra Reddy and Syed Ahmadullah may join the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and everything is in place to welcome these leaders into the party. The AP CM has been trying hard to penetrate into Kadapa district, right from TDP came to power in 2014.
YSRCP boss Jagan
It is a known fact that this district has been in the grip of YSR's family for several decades. Even during last elections, nine seats from here went to the YSRCP boss Jagan whereas the yellow party won only one MLA seat here. This has challenged TDP in a big way.
Already Jayaramulu, Adi Narayana Reddy, Sai Pratap have come into TDP and now if Chandrababu ropes in more from here, naturally it will dent the prospects of YSRCP here. Once Jagan focused on Kuppam and he didn’t succeed, now let’s see if Babu can win here!
