Even as Afghanistan envoy is addressing UN meet on terrorism and accused Pakistan terror groups of posing security threat to the country, twin blasts rocked Afghanistan capital Kabul. 


Twin blasts during a mass demonastration left more than 50 dead and over 160 injured. The explosions rocked Kabul's Dehmazang Circle close to where thousands of people from Hazara minority were demonstrating over a power route line. 


People were demanding changes to the route to a planned multi million dollar power transmission line. Suicide bomber detonated explosives by mingling with the protestors at the rally in Kabul on Saturday. 


Fraidoon Obaidi, chief of Kabul`s Criminal Investigation Department said no details of casualities or nature of the blast are available. Casualities are likely to increase as many are being rushed to the hospital.
