YSRCP president, leader of the opposition in AP assembly is getting ready to give private shock to PM Modi and BJP led NDA government at the centre. It is known that Congress is stepping up heat on special status to AP in Rajya Sabha. KVP.Ramachandra Rao, Congress party MP introduced private bill demanding discussion on AP special status in Rajya Sabha.
Couple of days back BJP ensured that the bill doesn't come for discussion protesting on AAP MP Bhagwant Mann's issue of leaked video on Parliament security. Now Jagan is planning to introduce private bill in Lok Sabha so that Modi government cannot escape from discussion either in Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha or in both houses.
While analysts say it is a master stroke from Jagan to corner both AP CM Chandra Babu in the state and PM Modi at the centre and claim credit as the sole fighter for AP special status, the question is whether it will come for discussion.
This because even national party like Congress, with all its might and leaders like Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi is finding it difficult to bring the bill to discussion.
