Is TRS government is gearingup to take such shocking action. It is known that Mallanna Sagar project is becoming bone of contention between the ruling TRS government and opposition parties. Opposition parties started protesting at the project stalling the construction activities.
Now T.Srinivas Yadav speaking to scribes warned opposition leaders that the government willnot hesitate to send all opposition leaders behind bars for trying to stall developmental works at Mallanna Sagar or any other irrigation projects in the state.
He said opposition parties are playing politics at Mallanna Sagar project even as government was trying to give better compensation to farmers for their lands through GO123 or the land acquisiton act 2013.
On police excesses on lathi charge and firing on farmers and opposition leaders he said he will talk to Minister Harish Rao and ensure that this will not repeat. He said CM KCR and irrigation minister Harish Rao will come with more details.
