According to latest reports, the Telangana wing of TDP is all set for intensifying its latest series of agitations against the KCR led government regarding the controversial land acquisition for Mallannasagar Project. This has in a way riled up Telangana BJP.
The noted leader Vanteru Pratap Reddy made an announcement today that Telangana TDP will be waving black flags at PM Narendra Modi’s meeting which will be held at Gajwel on August 7th.This announcement took many by surprise and also shook the TRS government.
Pratap Reddy reportedly warned the TRS government to quickly make some amends on the issue. Modi is expected to land in Telangana for the first time ever after becoming the Prime Minister two years ago. Finally TRS wants to encash this visit!
If there is indeed protests held at this meeting, it will bring a lot of disrepute to TRS government. At a time when TRS has been touting that TDP has vanished, the Gajwel strongman throwing a direct challenge is indeed surprising! It has to be seen how TRS will deal with this.
