All political parties be it Congress and BJP or any other regional parties make many promises showing heaven to people during elections. However after the elections they conveniently look the other way and after Independence this has been the sad story.
This is the reason why even after so many decades,people are still fighting to comeout of poverty struggling for roti,kapda and makaan. Its a shame that many places don't have basic facilities like proper roads,electricity, connectivity etc.
Politicians ensured that people remain illiterate so that they donot see through their divisive politics of caste,creed and religion. They chant something or the other in the guise of development. Now politicians spoke about smart cities, millinnium cities,world class capitals etc but in reality is far from truth.
Even small rain cripples all cities irrespective of the location. Be it North, East,West,South, the situation is no different. Government and administration run from pillar to post only after the problem and politicians make false promises at that moment and then the moment situation crawl back to normalcy and people get into their daily chores they will look the other way.
Though some work honestly others ensure that they donot work and politicians and government employees are only keen to increase their salaries at the expense of tax payers money and even then suck people with their corruption. They are not bothered about price rice, farmers suicides etc. Politicians go to any extent to sell off their country for few more bucks.
