Kanyakumari sources have stated that recently in a private nursing college a Dhalit boy from Puliyangudi was found hanged in a suspicious manner and the news has shocked many. Selvakumar, 21 from Nellai district was studying second year B. Sc Nursing in CSI Nursing College.
It is stated that he was residing in the college hostel and yesterday morning he was found hanged in his room and the suspicious death has tensed the college students. The Marthandam police have rushed to the spot and have sent his body for postmortem.
Presently the police are making investigations as the Dhalit boy’s murder was in suspicion and meanwhile the news have reached the boy’s parents and they have rushed to the spot and have started to question about his death.
The boy’s parents were found shouting before the police as the reason behind his death was unknown and the incident has created chaos for some time and the parents are fighting for justice for their son’s death.
