T-Congress CLP leader Jana Reddy had bitter experience. It is known that Jana Reddy unlike other political leaders acts in a soft and dignified manner. However even he got shock from Telangana police. Jana Reddy decided to visit the villages around Mallannasagar project where people are protesting against the acquisition of lands by TRS government headed by KCR.
But police stopped him on the national high way and shifted him to police station. Police arrested him at around 11 AM and shocked him with their behavior. They didnot inform either Jana Reddy and his supporters where they are shfiting him. Supporters expressed their fury on police action. However police didnot respond but went ahead with their duty.
Police finally sent them to IDA Bollaram police station. Generally police used to release politicians after few hours after taking them into their custody. Same thing happened even during Telangana movement with Harish Rao and Eetela Rajender. But Jana Reddy and his supporters were kept in police station till 4 PM.
later he was taken to Ramachandrapuram police station and released him there. Jana turned extremely angry and questioned what crime he committed and why police brought him as though they were kidnapping him.
