Sources from Hyderabad have added that bids for two land parcels at Dommarapochampally and Manikonda (survey no. 151) were cancelled in the last minute due to court cases, while bids were made for 10 plots, of these; six plots received just single bids.

Sources have also said the poor or no response for many plots was due to high reserve price and some of the interested buyers have said the reserve price was much higher than market rate and this was a major dampener.

Meanwhile many bidders have informed the TSIIC that there were boulders and rocks in some plots and some were very uneven and some bidders have reportedly informed the government that developing these plots would cost them as much as the price of the plot itself.

The TSIIC official has told that as per the guidelines, bids were invited for a second time for the plots that received single bids at Khanamet in Serilingampally, Dargha Kaliz, Manchirevula and Narsingi and the last date expired on August 9th.
