When two weeks back Telangana cops gunned down notorious renegade maoist Nayeemuddin, almost every one heaved a sigh of relief. After his encounter many startling revelations are comingout and the diary of Nayeem sent shock waves across the political and police spectrum as it exposed the links between Nayeem and various ministers and top cops.

In a shocker it is comingout that Nayeem had hand in the deadly attack on former police cop which eliminated him. Now many are coming forward saying that though Nayeem is no more, his gang is even more dangerous and unless the gang members are eliminated, they cannot sleep in peace.

Many times police launched missions to catch Nayeem but all of them failed in the last minute. Now many are wondering why the missions to hunt down Nayeem failed. In the recent encounter at Shadnagar, except for few cops not many in the top police brass knew about the 'Operation Nayeem'.

An IPS officer, who has been recently given a posting in one of the three city commissionerates, led the tactical (TAC) team that carried out the ultra-secretive operation. Earlier Special Intelligence Branch (SIB) of Telangana tried to hunt down Nayeem nine months back but couldn't succeed as he slipped to Goa,Mumbai and Raipur.

Now top cops say only team of four cops who are dedicated tracked down for months before shooting him down on 8 Aug. Nayeem indulged in threatening businessmen even when he was out of the state and especially a business tycoon close to top politician. Team of cops realised that top cops who had contacts with Nayeem is protecting him by passing on crucial information.

so they operated in isolation and went on to identify  13 dens of Nayeem in the state capital, Bhongir, Miryalguda, Goa, Mumbai, Raipur and Bhubaneswar. A member revealed “Nayeem used to travel to all his out of state dens in four-wheelers with local registration numbers. He always used local SIM cards of a particular state where he was staying. During the road journey , women and children would always accompany Nayeem and he wore a disguise,“

Team travelled in disguise on bikes and autos. They came to know that some grown children knew how to fire arms. Now police are questioning Hari Prasad CEO of i10 Channel for his links. Police said .“During the 2015 Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, through Hari Prasad, Nayeem distributed Timewel wristwatches to local reporters for coverage of celebrations at his pandals.Nayeem also gifted an iphone 6 to Prasad,“
