PV Sindhu - The Hyderabad girl made the whole nation proud by winning Silver medal in Olympics. She even created history by winning the medal. She was given a warm and rousing welcome at Airport yesterday. Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu and her coach Gopichand today visited Vijayawada to yet another grand welcome by the Andhra Pradesh government.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu called PV Sindhu's parents and invited them to attend the closing ceremony of Krishna Pushkaralu and he even announced a cash prize of Rs.3 Crores, a land and also a Government job to Sindhu.
This morning Sindhu reached Gannavaram Airport and she reached Indira Gandhi Stadium. Chandrababu Naidu greeted her with warm smile and he appreciated all her achievements. Babu who couldn't control, started to play badminton with her on the stage and Sindhu showed her master class once again.
She won against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister on stage. Gopichand and Sindhu's sister also got the same rousing reception. They are expected to take holy dip in Krishna River late evening.
