Hyderabad sources have stated that the tale of one-upmanship between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has continued on Tuesday with Chandrababu Naidu declaring Pusarla Venkata Sindhu as "Andhra Pradesh's muddu bidda (beloved daughter)" and granting 15 acres of land to her mentor Pullela Gopichand in Amaravathi to set up a world class badminton academy.

Chandrababu Naidu at the civic reception the AP government has hosted for the ace shuttle and her coach at IGMC stadium in Vijayawada and Naidu has made the event memorable by playing badminton for a few minutes with Sindhu on stage at the IGMC Stadium.


 Naidu has stated that she was an inspiration to girls and women in the country after her Rio show. Gopichand's academy in Hyderabad stands on 5 acre of land which too was largesse from Naidu when he was chief minister of united AP.


It is stated that both Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao has fought over Hyderabad at the time of bifurcation and are warring over Sindhu presently and Naidu's council of ministers have gone a step ahead by claiming Sindhu as AP's Telugu ammayi (daughter), which is the commonly heard refrain.
