Sri Bhaktanjaneya Suruchi Foods which is a famous Sweets Establishment based in Tapeswaram has created World's Largest Laddu and this indeed a new Guinness World Record. The laddu is dedicated to a 78-foot tall Lord Ganesha idol at Gajuwaka.
The laddu that weighs 29,465 kg was made by a team of 20 people and costs around Rs 50 lakhs ! According to The Hindu, Sri Bhaktanjaneya Suruchi Foods’ propreitor, PVVS. Mallikarjun Rao said, "The ladoo comprises 45 per cent sugar, 23 per cent besan, 27 per cent ghee and five per cent dry fruits.
The entire process of making it took about 20 hours. It will be instantly distributed to devotees from Wednesday onwards." The previous record was held by rasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust in Ambaji, Gujarat for a a 11,115 kg laddu.
