Sources from New Delhi have stated that the country’s Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitely has addressed the media in Delhi over the special status issue, where the minister has sung the same old song and has reiterated once again that special status will not be granted to AP.

It is stated that Jaitely has told that the centre honors the sentiment of Seemandhra people who have been equivocally demanding the special status, but it is unable to oblige the demand following the recommendation of the 14th finance commission which said that no Indian state will get special status.
