Sources from Hyderabad have stated that All India Majlis-e-Ittahadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Z H Zaveed was caught for driving in an inebriated condition at Banjara Hills on Friday night.



The Banjara Hills traffic inspector N Vidhya Sagar has said that Javeed’s car was stopped near Indo-American cancer hospital during a drive against drunken driving.

He was asked to undergo a breathalyzer test which has turned out positive and the police have said Javeed's blood alcohol content (BAC) was 83 mg/100 ml against the permissible limit of 30 mg/100 mal.



 

His vehicle was immediately seized and he was asked to appear in court and as part of the drive, police have apprehended 23 motorists, including two women, for driving under the influence of alcohol at the checkpoint.
