Sources have added that Telangana Congress senior leader VH Hanumantha Rao has criticized AP and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan for the latter's undue favors to Andhra Pradesh and the apparent negligence towards Telangana state.
It was stated that he has said Narasimhan brought to the notice of the union government the fight on special status by AP people and their plights after the division of state.
Meanwhile the VH has questioned Narasimhan for
maintaining silence on the farmers’ suicides, agitation against land
acquisition at Mallannasagar and other irrigation projects in Telangana in his
meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has asked why Governor is least
bothered about the problems of Telangana people and take care only AP issues.
It is added that the senior leader has also said
the Governor has treated Telangana as adopted son in every issue, while AP has
been given utmost importance and has also demanded the union government to
appoint a new Governor replacing Narasimhan immediately for the latter's
unilateral decisions.
