Sources have added that former cricketer has turned as an eccentric politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has recently catapulted a forum named 'Awaaz-e-Punjab', has presently declared that his forum was not a political party and it will not contest the Punjab Assembly Elections.
Sidhu has expressed his willingness to form alliance with any political party for the welfare of Punjab and the minimum time which was taken by a new party to win a state is almost two years and three months is very short time for this Herculean task.
Meanwhile
the cricketer turned politician has justified his decision of not contesting in
the Punjab elections citing he had decided not to divide the anti-incumbency
votes which could indirectly benefit the ruling party and has also made it
clear that his only aim was to stop the ruling party from getting elected again.

agenda, they can't help but notice the similarities with Pawan Kalyan's agenda
when he had formed 'Jana Sena'.
