Firing at Cascade Mall in Washington resulted in the death of four in USA. The Washington State Patrol confirmed on twitter that four people have been killed during a shooting at a mall north of Seattle and that at least one suspect remains at large.
Firing happened at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, about 105 kilometers north of Seattle.Authorities are in search for the suspect wearing gray who was last seen walking toward Interstate 5. Authorities are not clear whether more than one shooter was involved.
The mall had been evacuated at around 8.30 PM and is not clear on the number of people injured. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives said Friday night it was deploying to Burlington, Washington,USA.
Police released a still showing the suspect from the CCTV suspect. Washington State Patrol spokesman Sgt. Mark Francis tweeted the shooter was "armed with rifle." He reportedly entered a Macy's department store around 7:00pm. He earlier tweeted "active shooter description," detailing an "Hispanic male wearing grey. Last seen walking towards I5 from Cascade Mall burlington."
Skagit County police and fire scanner audio described the suspect as appearing between 20 to 25 years old, with a "skinny build," black messy hair and wearing a black shirt.
The Cascade Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Burlington, Washington that opened in 1990, according to the mall's website. It features J C Penney, TJ Maxx, and Macy's stores, among other stores, restaurants and a movie theater.
