Congress party leaders, supporters and cadre hail Sonia Gandhi's son Rahul Gandhi who is the vice president as the future Prime Minister of the country. However Rahul Gandhi tried lost many elections and this is turning him into a laughing stock infront of media and people of the country.
While seniors in the party say Rahul Gandhi needs more time to groom, others say there is sense of gloom in the party. Now he is busy campaigning for the party in the runup to the upcoming assembly elections next year.
His opponents are happy that they will gain by Rahul's campaigning. In the meantime Rahul Gandhi who was searching for his lost glory and is leaving no stone unturned in Lucknow.
But much to his shock, a shoe was thrown at him in a road show in Sitapur. The shoe missed Rahul Gandhi but police arrested the attacker. The incident happened when Rahul Gandhi was riding in an open top vehicle during the road show .
Rahul who got the shock was seen glancing at the show before looking away. Rahul Gandhi later attacked RSS and BJP saying “I will keep fighting against such forces”.
It came out that local journalist, Hariom Mishra, a resident of Shastri Nagar,was behind the shoe attack. He questioned “The Congress has left the country in the dumps in the past 60 years. I have been a journalist for two years and I know. What they were doing when they were in power? This made me angry”
